Full name - Jesse Bruce Pinkman is premier partner of Walter White in the meth trade. In the school Jesse was a smalltime meth user and manufacturer, and also dealer. He was an unresponsible student in Walter White's chemistry class. In his age middle twenties Jesse became Walt's business partner in the meth manufacturing and trade. Before Jesse partnership with Walt he operating under the nickname "Capitain Cook", and was adding a little chili powder to make his meth different from other traders out in the market.
Walter White insisted on making a pure product and thus eschewed the chili powder altogether, Walt teach Jesse how to make a "proper" product. Walter frequently treated Jesse, like a foolish son in constant need of stern correction. Parents kicked Jesse's out because of his drug usage and trading.
Like Walter, Jesse Pinkman is horrified by the violence at the high levels of the drugs trade, but does what Jesse think is necessary. He suffer depression of guilt about people deaths, all drug related, and of people he has been associated with, especially his girlfriend Jane.
Later on Jesse in Breaking Bad series loyalty to Walt becomes strained upon learning from Saul that Walt is tricking him helping bring down Gustavo Fring by poisoning Jesse's new girlfriend's son Brock. As result he works up with Hank (Walter's brother-in-law who forks in DEA) to bring Walter down.
They were nearly successful but were stopped by Jack's supremacist gang before Hank could make arrest Walt. After Hank was killed and Jesse was later taken by the Jack's gang and forced into product cooking slave. During the final episode of Breaking Bad, Jesse was freed by Walt, leaving Jesse emotionally and mentally broken from the events occurred throughout the course of the Breaking Bad series.
